Good Bye Nanae Nagamine

On monday Nanae left  back to Japan. We are going to miss her so much. We have many good memories with her. She came to Oregon in August, she actually came on my birthday. Nanae said funny things, she liked being random. Nanae also had an obsession with baseball, for her birthday present my mom bought tickets to the Seattle Mariners game. If Nanae didn't go to MACA with me and Des we wouldn't have known a lot of people (for those of you who didn't know Nanae was very friendly and liked talking to a lot of people).  Her favorite food was mac and cheese and brownies. Nanae went to church with us and decided to become a Christian, she even got baptized. I hope to visit her in Japan someday. Here are some pictures of her.

As many people know my brother is a very talented musician, he made this song the other day. I was making a music video yesterday and he told me I should make one for his song, so I did with the help of Nanae and IMovie.   The other movie was some effects i was testing out on imovie. Enjoy

Prom Queen!

Destiny, Nanae and I go to the media arts and communications academy (MACA), its a school right by McMinnville High School but its separated. MACA's prom was on Saturday, me and des didn't go but Nanae went. And she got the 2nd prom queen, she was really happy.

Random?

I seem to get very bored during math class. My mom told me things are only boring when you make them that way. So today I decided to make math class more interesting, being a Gash I had to do something very random. If you know me you know Im a quiet person, I don't talk at school very much. My fellow students are always surprised when I say something during class.  So the teacher was helping another student and the rest of us were just chilling. So I went over to the window, opened it and jumped right out. It was sunny outside, most of my classmates were looking out the window wondering what I was doing. I just told them I was getting some fresh air. The teacher was still not paying attention and helping that kid. After like 2 minutes I jumped back threw the window, and the teacher still doesn't know that I jumped out her window during her class. After I came back in my classmates looked pretty confused on why I just jumped out the window. I was satisfied to do a random act of the day.

What we've been doing?

What we've been doing is running around, doing church things and socializing with friends. Me and my dad are on our church drama team. We recently had a drug awareness night at the Macstage. There was some visitors some of witch go to our school and are our friends, we were really happy they came. There was some really good testimonies that night,  we did four different skits for it  (you can see them on youtube  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWk9YI5zDbw&feature=related  there are 4 different parts).  Our church had conference and that week was very crazy. We had some people over and got to see friends we only see once in a while. For easter we went to church and afterwards we went to our grandparents house. On easter we took a kid from school we are reaching out to named Ray to church and to our Grandparents house. He seemed to have a good time.

My Actual Birthday

I cant believe that I am now 17, that is just crazy!
To be perfectly honest my birthday day at school, was not that much fun. Mostly because people kept telling me that I wasn't happy enough, and that it was my birthday so I should be HAPPY. And I really was trying to be happy, but I was feeling quite sick and I just wasn't feeling it. Anyways when I got home from school I realized that I needed to do something to make my birthday a success. Soooo my cousins, the ones I love oh so dearly were staying at my grandma Gashs house. I really wanted to go for a walk with Anna at the Discovery park (even tho it was quite grey and cold outside). Anyways Rainey and I took the three Gash kids to the park. It was so much fun. And a PERFECT way for me to spend my birthday afternoon. It was exactly what I needed :)
I love all my cousins so much. I have a different relationship with each of them. But Anna and I have just really clicked. It probably has something to do with us always being together since she was a baby. Whenever we were at church, or parties, we were always together!! We were/ still are inseparable. She is probably the cousin that I am the closest too. Anyways I could go on and on. But I always have fun with all the Gash kids :) and I just love them!

Birthday BUDS

This year Isaiah and I shared a birthday party :) It was a few days early, since his parents were going off to Prescott Conference. Anyways it was fun to share the birthday party. 

I cant believe that he is four years old! I remember when I held him for the first time like 2 days after he was born. He was just so little back than. He is such a Gash, and I thank God that he gave him to me for a cousin!

This is Destiny posting, I wanted to put up some cute pictures that I got of some lil kids at Nikki's Grad party. It was a beautiful day last saturday, and we had a great time just playing out in the sun. Well at least I had fun. I did a lot of pushing of young children on the swings. When they got tired of that, me and August played a little soccer, than we played tag (or catch me), it was fun :) mostly cuz it was easy to run away from August, usually i dislike playing tag but it was so easy.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!!

    Two and half weeks ago it was Christmas! Our family always open our presents on christmas eve :) It was really fun, we hung out and ate pizza. The next day it was Christmas, we first went to our grandparents house (my moms mom and step dad). Then we went to Vancouver to the other Gashes, for a Gash Christmas Bash! The next day, my moms dads family came over, for lunch :) Then the next friday it was new years eve. We went to the pioneer place mall in portland with our friends, the Mcmillan's and Moraih Our church had a talent show. Justus played a song on the drums and piano. Nanae played the piano. And Me, mom and Destiny were in skits. Our whole family was involved.

Thanksgiving!

        Oh my how the time has past.  We went to Portland and hung out with our friends, ate some voodoo doughnuts, and walked around. On thanksgiving we went to the beach, witch is what we do every year and greatly enjoy it. Theres nothing we love more than eating turkey and walking on the beach, on thanksgiving.  We went to the black friday sale at 12 at night, at the tanglier mall.
