Grad Girl

This girl graduated.......

We had a crazy week. On Tuesday we went to Destinys Maca recognition night. Maca is the school we went to last year, but now its a pathway its a bunch of art classes. Anyways, they had there own recognition night because most of the seniors went to Maca for there whole high school career. Anyways Destiny was salutatorian so she got to give a speech, she did so well. I'll post the speech below. Then on Friday it was the Mac High Graduation. It was really cold, and very long. But we got to cheer on Destiny and our good friend Jessica. On Saturday we had her graduation party. I helped our friends the Wegners make sushi for the party. Our Aunt Kris made a really yummy chocolate cake. We also had some awesome friends make guacamole.  We also had relatives we hadn't seen in forever there. There was 76 people at our house, including our favorite teacher from the Sheridan Japanese School! Destiny got an Iphone 4 and also a really comfy chair she's wanted forever.  We are so proud of our Desy. She is going to Chemeketa for free for two years. She wants to do something in early child development, which is right up her ally. Congrats Des!

SKYDIVING!!

this will be me tomorrow, but a little louder

Yes that is right ladies and gentlemen!!!
Tomorrow I am going to go on an adventure of a lifetime,
in the sky!!!
I have always dreamt of being dropped out of an airplane (with a parachute on my back)
but I just never imagined the day would actually come!!
Anyways the person who actually is making my dreams come true is a very
special birthday girl who planned this awesome trip.
I am so happy, so nervous, so excited, so scared!
Its like the feeling I had before I left for Japan, I know it will be amazing and I just hope that
I will remember it perfectly!
Less than 24 hours before I jump off that plane and dive into the sky!
Wahoooo!!!
I hope to live to tell about it.
ha ha :)
If not just know that it was amazing...

Trip to Medford

We tied pieces of paper with memories of our cousin written on them to balloons

Well we went on a trip last Thursday through saturday, this was an unexpected trip.
Unfortunately it was for a family emergency.
On May 18, 2012 my cousin passed on from this Earth and on to the next.
The sad thing is she was only 20 years old, and had her whole life ahead of her.
What took her life was her addiction to drugs.
For me this really hit home because their are a lot of people around me at school who are dealing with addictions.

And it makes me sad that it is taking these young peoples lives.
Especially since it does not have to be that way.

Anyway we drove down Thursday after school, and we left saturday afternoon.
Even though it was a time of sadness, we were still able to enjoy being with our cousins and other family members.

the cousins  (that came)
On Saturday before we headed home we had the opportunity to ride Doc, my aunts horse. It was pretty cool.

Uriah and Chantara Perez

Sunday was the big day!!!
My cousin Uriah married Chantara :)
So we headed to the Event Center that the wedding was held at. About 100 people attended the wedding. My uncle JC conducted the ceremony, it was such a cute wedding!! :) After the wedding my family and some of my relatives hung out at Starbucks before heading to the reception. The reception was catered with authentic Hawaiian food, it was so delicious!!! :) After we ate our food and hung out for awhile then we headed back home...
