Rainey's 16th Birthday

On August 25th 1995, my mother brought a beautiful baby girl into this world. She named her Rainey.
Than I had a little sister!!!
In celebration of her 16th birthday, my parents rented a condo in lincoln city for 2 nights. We had a little sleepover with a few of Rainey's close friends. Although the weather was pretty cold, it was still decent. Anyways we had a great time together.

On Thursday when we first got to Lincoln City, we went shopping at the Tanger outlet mall. We shopped and shopped and shopped :) Shopping with your friends adds a wonderful de-mention to the whole shopping experience. It is great to get the opinions of your friends before you think about buying something.

Friday we spent some time watching the magic box, and some time chillan on the beach. At night we had a small birthday party for Rainey. It was great fun, hanging out with friends and family just enjoying the warm sand, the ice cold ocean water, and of course the roaring bonfire. At about 11:30 the party died down and we cleaned up. Rainey, Moriah, Grace, and Audrey pulled an all-nighter.

Saturday (today) I woke up at 5:45 AM to watch the sun rise with Audrey. Once we were done we went back to bed for a few hours. After we were all packed up and ready to go, we headed back to the mall to do some more shopping. A few hours later we headed home.

The beach is a magical place and I miss it already.

My heads in the clouds!

Hey this is Rainey, today was a wonderful day. I got to do an intro. lesson to flying at mac airport. First I met the guy who was taking me flying his name is Lee, he's been flying 40 years. We checked and made sure the plane was safe, he told me the names of many of the plane parts (most of them i didn't remember). He showed me how to drive the plane on the ground, then we drove the plane to the run way. He was telling me how to drive the plane, had me push some buttons and what not. Then the next thing I knew we were in the air and he told me "congrats you just did your first your take off". It felt so weird leaving the ground. I have to admit when we first got in the air I was really scared but then, I got used to it. He let me fly around I saw my house, wal-mart, mac high (those were the things i recognized). We were in the air for about an hour and a half. Yamhill County looks way more beautiful in the air than on the ground.
This is the airplane we flew

Today I realized I want to be a pilot.

Jedediah Clinton

This little guy made Saturday awesome! He was my outreach buddy, but he brightened my whole day :) He just had so much to say!! He talked about reptiles that he learned about at school, his favorite animal that he learned about at the zoo, lego star wars (and other PC games), and he talked about various movies that he had seen. There was not a dull moment all day ;) I told him about my work, my pet turtle (well Rainey's Russian Tortoise), Gwen (pet Cockatiel bird) and so on.
Plus he is great about taking lots of pictures with me. This little guy is not shy! I can't believe he will be turning 8 in February, he is just growing up way to fast. I love his cute personality, and he has some funny things to say. I hope I get to see him again in September.

The second Day of Idaho

The second day consisted of eating a delicious breakfast at the hotel, going to the church, going on outreach, eating lunch, more outreach, and a concert at the park. Than we had dinner at the Perez's house. Btw the reason why their is so many pictures of me and Jed is because we pretty much hung out together all day :) While Rainey and Bianca were hanging out elsewhere.

So this is the Caldwell Potters House flyer

The only picture I have of Rainey and Bianca together :) This was at lunch time, they
ate at Pizza Hut.

Justus for All and Iltre played at the concert in the park. It was loud enough to hear throughout the
entire park.

We went over to JC and Christal's church, and while some people set up for the concert the rest of us went around the neighborhood inviting people to come to the concert. ILTRE had the concert to themselves, and during the concert I hung out with Bianca (my cousin), than Chantara (Uriahs friend).

The hotel we stayed at offered free soup :)

Here is a picture of the guys enjoying their soup. Ha ha

White Water Rafting... The experience of a lifetime

So the title of this post pretty much sums up the whole trip. We left at 5:30 AM and drove to Maupin, OR. We went on an AM half day trip down the Deschutes River on a raft with five other random people (strangers.) It was definitely the experience of a lifetime. It was amazing, but the water was kinda cold. Every time I was almost dry I would get soaked again. Riding through the rapids sitting on the front of the raft was definitely my favorite part :)
Unfortunately we only got one picture of us on the raft.

Anyways it was a great way to spend my day off of work :)

GIRL PARTY!!! (Viewers Discretion is advised)

Well first thing I kinda feel bad for boys, because they certainly do not get to have as much fun as we do. Just today I was thinking about how crazy my friends and I get when we are just hanging out together. It is always have a blast!! God has blessed me with some rad friends, and a pretty cool sister :)

This time we met up at the McMillians, and we ended up having a soap hay-day on their trampoline!

First we poured on the soap, then spread it around with our feet, than we jumped :)

The face that I am making in the picture below pretty much sums up the whole expirence

Rainey posing :) check out those pearly whites (she got braces)

So slippery!!

Tustling

smile for the group photo

Our beautiful feet!
Soaking up the sun, and sliding around on a wet and soapy trampoline was pretty fun! Maybe the only thing that compares is when we jumped on the trampoline in the rain at night :D One of those things that is only fun pretty much once.
Summer is great!

Champoeg!!!

Ha ha I know this post is a little late, but better late than never. For those of you who don't know what Champoeg is, like every year on like the last week of July a couple of families from our church go and stay at Champoeg state park for a week. My family just visits for one day, since my parents aren't too into camping. So we visited on Thursday, and I got to spend the night with my dear friends the McMillians, and the next day I helped clean up a bit, anyways here are some of the pictures :)
 ^^ my lil buddy Diego^^
^^ I spent most of my time with Patty and Grace :) lol but i only of pics of them together
